Life history
Observed only once, on October 3, 1986, Booly was all white. He was born around 1936.
The lack of data about him means we can’t identify the area he frequents from his habits and affiliations.
It was only after his death, during a post-mortem examination, that it was discovered that he was a hermaphrodite. Externally, Booly was typically male. Internal examination revealed a uterus and ovaries of reduced size, together with a penis and testicles of normal appearance, all functional.

Latest news
On May 30, 1989, Booly’s carcass was discovered on the shore of the municipality of Sainte-Flavie in the Lower St. Lawrence region. In addition to the discovery that Booly was a hermaphrodite, his post-mortem examination revealed that he had died of digestive problems, including intestinal ulcers. The examination also confirmed that Booly was at least 53 years old and 4.14 m tall. Although we have little data on his behavior, his history remains a valuable source of information for our knowledge of this fragile population.
