Distinctive traits
DL2384 is easily recognized by the notch in the center of its dorsal crest, on its left flank. It also has a slight fused hole at the end of its dorsal crest. The same markings are visible on the right flank.
Life history
We first met DL2384 in 2005. At the time, it was already immaculately white. Beluga whale color change, from gray to white, occurs between the ages of 12 and 16.
DL2384 has been observed among adults and gray juveniles, as well as among adults, gray juveniles and calves.
