Following a fantastic day off Tadoussac on August 17, 2016, here is an album exceptionally full of photos, all taken that day: humpback whales (Gaspar and Picotine) surface feeding, fin whales also surface feeding and an abundance of minke whales (20 to 25) in a very compact area. Duos, trios and sometimes quartets of minke whales! Not to mention dynamic fin whales just metres away from the boat, a humpback passing under the boat (its pectoral fin could be seen gliding below the surface), and the same humpback again, farther away, slapping the water surface with its tail (it even breached once completely out of the water). All these wonderful creatures were feeding and masses of krill could be seen near the surface (visible in some of the photos). In any case, I can’t get these beautiful images out of my mind.
