When opera embraces belugas: an encounter of great beauty!
A mother beluga and her offspring gracefully slip through the waters of the St. Lawrence under the watchful eye of an aunt about to give birth. Quebec soprano Jessica Latouche accompanies them with one of the most beautiful songs of classical opera, Addio del passato from Verdi’s La Traviata.
St. Lawrence belugas are endangered. They deserve a better future. Do them a kind deed by sharing this video.
