Distinctive traits
DL3062 can be identified by a dotted line on the peduncle, on the side of its left flank. On the same flank, you can also see notches at the end of the dorsal crest.
Life history
We first met DL3062 in 2010. Back then, he was dirty-white. Since 2020, he’s much whiter. Beluga whales change color from gray to white between the ages of 12 and 16.
