Nevertheless, marine mammals were still seen here and there when the weather permitted.<\/p><p>Observers are unanimous: \u201cThere was so much fog this week,\u201d explains one marine mammal enthusiast from <strong>Grande-Rivi\u00e8re<\/strong>, \u201cwe had trouble seeing the sea and could constantly hear the sound of the fog horns.\u00a0\u201cWe\u2019re in a bay, and it was completely foggy for several days on end,\u201d reports a resident of <strong>Pointe-des-Monts<\/strong>. \u201cOftentimes, we can hear the whales blow, but this weekend we didn\u2019t hear a thing.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This past week was marked by the presence of fog almost all across the St. Lawrence.
