These reports can lead to conservation and prevention measures, even if the animal is in perfect health.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, when a species as vulnerable and precious as a <a href=\"https:\/\/baleinesendirect.org\/en\/discover\/the-species-of-the-st-lawrence\/the-13-species\/north-atlantic-right-whale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">North Atlantic right whale<\/a> was reported in the St. Lawrence Estuary in late September \u2013 an area it very rarely frequents \u2013 the Network shifted into high gear.
