On board the <em>Bleuvet<\/em>, the organization\u2019s main research vessel, the crew was reduced to the bare minimum in order to comply with public health measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>The team\u2019s first project of the season entails fitting belugas with data archivers. GREMM is participating in the data collection aspect of this project led by Fisheries and Oceans Canada researcher <a href=\"https:\/\/baleinesendirect.org\/en\/decouvrir\/la-recherche-sur-les-baleines\/les-chercheurs\/veronique-lesage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">V\u00e9ronique Lesage<\/a>.
