DL1214 is swimming in a large herd of about 80 individuals, all adults, off the coast of Les Escoumins. Most of the animals are heading down river, i.e. toward the Gulf of St. Lawrence, while about twenty or so are “logging”, a term that means that they are floating like logs on the water surface; they are resting.
